ADRA Madagascar and ADRA Netherlands are partnering to support education in targeted primary and secondary schools in the capital city. In February 2020, three schools received new facilities, teaching and learning materials, and educational games.
With the first objective to improve students’ learning environment and to provide adequate infrastructure and facilities for students and teachers, ADRA built new kitchen, canteen and toilets in two of those schools.
For the students, developmental toys and playground equipment were provided in order to promote their physical and mental development.
Finally, the schools received teaching tools and IT devices including computers, projectors, TV set, in order for the teachers to increase teaching quality and to apply innovative approaches.
In total, 1,039 students benefit from this initiative. They can today evolve in an enabling environment for development and success.
